Getting Paid: How Chariot Delivers Your Settlement Funds

When a settlement comes through, getting your money is the easy part. Here's how Chariot notifies you, what payment options are available, and how to complete your withdrawal in just a few steps.

Know Your Rights

The moment we are able to finalize a settlement for you, our focus shifts to getting your money to you quickly and securely. Here is exactly how that process works and the different methods you can get paid.

You'll Get an Email When Funds Land

You don't need to check in constantly or wonder about the status — we'll reach out when your payout is ready. When funds become available on a claim that Chariot and our lawyer partners have settled on your behalf, we'll send you an email letting you know your account balance has been credited.

This is consistent with how we handle every stage of a claim, from intake through resolution. If you want a refresher on what happens before this point, our breakdown of what comes after you file a claim with Chariot covers the full journey.

Logging In and Adding a Withdrawal Method

Once you receive the email, log in to your Chariot account at app.chariotclaims.com/sign-in. You'll see your available balance in Your Wallet and a withdrawal option.

Our payment infrastructure is powered by Checkbook, a trusted payment platform built for secure, fast disbursements. When you start a withdrawal, you'll be given a secure link where you choose how to receive your funds.

One important note: Chariot never collects or stores your bank account, debit card, or routing information. Checkbook handles all of that securely at the moment you deposit, so there's nothing sensitive sitting in your Chariot account.

Your Payment Options

Chariot supports multiple withdrawal methods so you can receive funds in the way that works best for you.

  • ACH bank transfer is the standard option for direct deposits into a checking or savings account. It is reliable and works with virtually any U.S. bank.

  • Real-Time Payments (RTP) moves money almost instantly to your bank account if your financial institution supports the RTP network. For many people, this means funds arrive within seconds of initiating the transfer.

  • Instant Pay via Push to Debit sends your payout directly to an eligible debit card, typically arriving within minutes. If you want fast access and have a Visa or Mastercard debit card on hand, this is a straightforward option.

  • Virtual Card delivers a digital card number to your email, which you can use immediately for online purchases or store in a digital wallet. No bank account is required.

  • Zelle allows you to receive funds directly through the Zelle network if your bank participates. Many major banks and credit unions support Zelle, making this a familiar choice for a lot of people.

  • Print and Deposit, also called a Digital Check, generates a check you can print at home and deposit through your bank's mobile app or at a branch. This option is especially useful if you prefer a traditional method or do not have a bank account set up for direct transfer.

Withdrawing From Your Wallet

Every settlement payout from a claim you've filed with Chariot lands in one place: your wallet. Whether it's $40 from one case or hundreds of dollars across several settlements stacking up over months, the funds collect in a single balance that's yours to withdraw whenever you're ready.

That means you don't have to chase down individual payments or worry about missing one. If you've filed claims across multiple cases, every settlement payout flows into the same wallet. When you log in, you'll see the running total along with a breakdown of which case each amount came from.

After selecting your preferred method and entering the required details, click “Withdraw”. From there, Chariot and Checkbook handle the rest. The timing of when funds arrive depends on which method you choose. RTP and Instant Pay land within minutes, while ACH and printed checks follow standard banking timelines.

If you ever want to see the payouts that you have withdrawn, you will also see a log on the My Wallet page.

If you run into any questions during the withdrawal process, you can reach our team at support@chariotclaims.com.
