If you worked with us before 2025, you probably knew us as ClaimClam. We are now known as Chariot Claims. The mission has stayed the same, but the strategies we use to help consumers have evolved.

ClaimClam was built around a simple idea. Every year, companies settle class action lawsuits worth millions of dollars, and most of that money never reaches the people it belongs to. After learning that only 4% of eligible consumers actually file for class actions they qualify for, our founder, Zim Hang, saw the opportunity to close that gap and built ClaimClam.

Why ClaimClam Was Only the Start

Class actions are only one method of litigation in the consumer protection world, and corporations are finding ways around them. Many companies now include arbitration clauses buried deep in their terms of service, requiring customers to give up their right to join a class action or sue in a public court.

ClaimClam was built to handle the class action side of consumer protection. But this left many harmed consumers without a clear path forward once a class action was no longer an option. That is why we made the shift to mass arbitration, a coordinated way for individuals to file their own private arbitration claims while still benefiting from the leverage of a group.

Meet Chariot Claims, the More Powerful Sibling

Chariot Claims is ClaimClam all grown up. Though ClaimClam is no longer, we learned a lot in our journey for consumer justice and have now pumped our learnings into Chariot Claims to take things to the next level. We still provide the same benefits, helping users find claims, breaking down legal methods into user-friendly language, and helping them file with no upfront cost. We just outgrew the shell.

Claimclam’s Shelly has evolved into Chariot Claims’ Chari! A little more about how Chari came to be: like all successful startups we knew a mascot was essential. Chari was the obvious choice, with the strength to pull the chariot and carry the weight of consumer justice on her back. She does it all; advocates for consumers, files legal paperwork, and rallies everyone together all while being the cutest mascot you've probably ever seen.

Now at Chariot Claims, we no longer just match people to class action settlements. We coordinate with law firms across the country to bring mass arbitration claims against companies that have broken the law. You may still see the ClaimClam name pop up here and there in old records, old emails, or reviews from earlier customers.
